The surging demand for innovative methods and systems for water conservation to recharge the depleting aquifers of water extraction structures saw the launching of the company K R G Rainwater Harvesting Foundation in the year 1998.  The Company has gained expertise by handling different types of Rainwater Harvesting methods.  Now this foundation consists of a group of professionals who are engaged in studying and implementing ground water developments, artificial recharge structures, based on a system and techniques of Rainwater Harvesting.

The team consists of experts from various disciplines like Geology, Hydrogeology, remote sensing, ground water modeling, etc. The Company can undertake Technical Feasibility study on Rainwater Harvesting Systems and Techniques and implement the recommendations. We can find a lasting solution for the perpetual problem of water scarcity for drinking and irrigation.

The Promoter of the Company Mr. K.R. Gopinath is one of the pioneers in rainwater harvesting methods in Chennai. His knowledge and command over the subject gained by personal interest and experience has been welcomed all over India. He is the Indian Representative of International Rainwater Catchment Systems Association (IRCSA), Singapore. He is a working committee member in the Water Conservation Committee of Chennai Metrowater and also the member of a High Power Committee constituted by the Tamil Nadu Second State Finance Commission.  He is a member of Advisory Committee for implementing Rainwater Harvesting in Rashtrapathi Bhawan, New Delhi and his recommendations have been already implemented in Rashtrapathi Bhawan.
